Legally Blonde was the first musical of the season for the third year musical theatre students at Performance Preparation Academy, rehearsed in tandem with Flashdance.

I approached Legally Blonde through my own experience as a young women on often overwhelmingly male-dominated creatives, and the way I and many others have had to carve out our own way of working.

This was a more contemporary version of the musical with updated references and orchestrations, and paid homage to classic musical theatre by taking inspiration from the many musical styles throughout.
