February 2019: Jesus Christ Superstar
In February 2019, I directed Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Jesus Christ Superstar, which had been a passion project of mine for a long time. I drew inspiration from both the idea of the cult of celebrity right now, and the stylistic musical choices of Webber and Rice. Dance was therefore a very important part of the production.
